Privacy Policy

The short version. Snap Tarot has no accounts and no sign-up. Your readings and history are stored only on your own device. We don't run a server that collects them. The few outside services we use — for ads and for purchases — are described in full below.
This policy explains what information Snap Tarot ("the app," "we," "us") handles, and how. It applies to the Snap Tarot mobile and web app published by Poemandres LLC. By using the app you agree to this policy.
Information stored on your device
Snap Tarot works without an account. The following is created and kept locally on your device (in your browser or app storage) and is not transmitted to us:
- Your saved reading history — the draws you choose to keep.
- The count of readings used toward the daily free allowance.
- Your Full Access status (whether ads and the daily limit are switched off).
- Small preferences, such as the current day's card.
Because this data lives on your device, you can erase it at any time by clearing the app's data or uninstalling the app. We have no copy to delete on our side.
Information we collect ourselves
In this version of the app, we operate no backend server and do not collect, store, or sell personal information ourselves. We do not ask for your name, email, or location, and we do not build a profile of you.
Third-party services
To show ads in the free version and to process purchases, the app uses a small number of established third-party services. These services may collect information under their own privacy policies, which we encourage you to read.
Advertising — Google AdMob
The free version of the app shows ads served by Google AdMob. To deliver and measure ads, AdMob may collect device and usage information such as a device advertising identifier, general (non-precise) location inferred from your connection, and app interaction data. Ads never appear on a card, a reading, or while you are working through a draw. You can limit ad personalization in your device settings, and purchasing Full Access removes ads entirely. Purchases — Google Play Billing & RevenueCat
Purchases of Full Access are handled by the app store's billing system (such as Google Play Billing) and managed through RevenueCat, which records that a purchase was made and which entitlement it grants. To do this, RevenueCat receives a non-identifying app user identifier and purchase details. We use this only to keep your purchase active and to support "Restore purchases." We never receive or store your full payment-card details — those are handled entirely by the app store. See RevenueCat's Privacy Policy and your app store's payment terms.
Children
Snap Tarot is intended for a general audience aged 13 and over and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information through a third-party service in our app, please contact us.
Your choices
- Erase your data: clear the app's data or uninstall the app to remove everything stored locally.
- Limit ad tracking: use your device's advertising and privacy settings to reset or limit your advertising identifier.
- Remove ads: purchase Full Access.
- Purchase records: manage or request deletion of purchase records through your app store account, or contact us for help.
International users
Where the third-party services above process data, that processing may occur in countries other than your own, under those providers' own safeguards. Using the app indicates your understanding of this.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the app evolves — for example, if a future version adds accounts or new features. When we do, we'll change the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, note the change in the app.
